Terms of Service
These Terms are an agreement between you and Parkle LLC ("we", "us"), operator of the Allegiance app (the "App"), allegiancetcg.com (the "Site") and the Allegiance TCG game (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you.
2. Your account
The App creates an account for you automatically. Until you save it with Discord, your account lives only on your device, and uninstalling the App or losing the device may lose your collection. Keep your Discord account secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person, please, and don't sell, trade or transfer accounts.
3. Playtest
The App is in active development and testing. Features, cards, rules and balance will change. We may need to reset collections, coins, games or stats during testing, and we'll try to give notice through the App or our Discord.
4. Virtual items
Coins, cards, packs, special finishes and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are part of the game. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them in the Service; you don't own them. Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for money or anything of value, and can't be sold or traded outside the Service. We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items. Currently Virtual Items can't be bought with real money. If that changes, additional terms will apply. Oaths are covered separately below.
4a. Oaths loyalty program
Oaths are loyalty points earned by playing Allegiance, taking part in events and giveaways, inviting friends, and purchases. They can be redeemed for physical products in the Oath Hall. The program is free: no purchase is necessary to earn Oaths.
- Oaths cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for cash, and have no monetary value.
- You need an account saved with Discord to earn and redeem Oaths. Earning is limited per day, and some activities (such as repeated games against the same opponent) stop earning after a limit.
- Redemptions are reviewed by our team before products are sent. We may decline a redemption and refund the Oaths, for example if a product is unavailable or cannot be shipped to you.
- Rewards, prices in Oaths, and availability can change at any time, and the program can end. If it ends, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the App to redeem remaining Oaths.
- Oaths earned by cheating, exploiting bugs, multiple accounts, win-trading or other abuse may be removed, and redemptions cancelled.
- Deleting your account deletes your Oaths.
- Where required by law, you are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive.
5. Physical products
Purchases of printed cards or other physical products through the Site are handled by our payment processor. Pack contents are randomized as described on the product page. Prices, availability, shipping and returns are described at checkout. Limited products may sell out and are not guaranteed to be restocked.
6. Fair play and conduct
Don't:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, modified clients or other tools to gain an advantage or earn rewards;
- interfere with, overload, probe, or reverse engineer the Service or its servers, except where the law allows;
- use a player name or message that is hateful, harassing, sexual, threatening, impersonates someone, or infringes others' rights;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players;
- use the Service for anything illegal.
We may remove content, reset items or results gained unfairly, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report problems to General@allegiancetcg.com or on our Discord.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of what you create, such as your player name, messages and Vault photos. Only submit photos of cards you own, that you took yourself, and that show nothing but the card. Approved photos are shown publicly in the App and our Discord. We may reject or remove any photo, and a verified badge is our good-faith check, not a guarantee of authenticity or value. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display it within the Service so the game can work.
8. Our content
The Service, including the Allegiance name, logos, rules, card designs, artwork, lore and software, is owned by Parkle LLC and its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-commercial, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may share screenshots and videos of your gameplay.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the App or at allegiancetcg.com/delete-account. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 4, 8 and 10–13 survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, PARKLE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, VIRTUAL ITEMS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
14. App stores
If you got the App from Google Play or the Apple App Store, their terms also apply. Those stores aren't responsible for the App or its support. For the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
